Workshops and Training
A variety of two and three day workshops are
offered to teachers, social workers, youth group leaders,
and other area professionals. Programs range from basic to
advanced skills in both the team building initiatives course
and the high elements courses.
Participants will learn to prepare students
to make the best use of adventure challenge programming and
how best to follow up on an experience at the course.
Through extensive hands-on practice, participants will learn
basic facilitation skills including tone setting, group
management, debriefing, processing, safety and risk
management, activity sequencing, group assessment, and high
element technical skills. Courses can be tailored to meet
specific needs for groups of 6 participants or more.

as a back-up facilitator on one of our high courses or by
becoming a certified group initiatives facilitator.
Provided certifications and skills are kept current, trained
